CV-1401: Role and Responsibilities of the Addiction Counselor
Includes discussion on understanding why we are counselors;
counseling misconceptions; appropriate counseling beliefs;
primary roles of the counselor; how to assist the client in
establishing goals and objectives and, discussion of
motivational techniques to help clients achieve their goals.

- Watch the videos;
- Answer the Exam Questions using the On-line Answer Sheet, and
pay on-line; or
- Answer the Exam Questions on the Answer Sheet included with
the Exam, and mail or fax the Answer Sheet to Breining Institute
Recommendation for passing the Exam:
Review the Exam Questions before viewing the videos. The order
of the Exam Questions follows along in the same order as the
videos, and there is at least one question related to each
video.
