The CAS Credential
is issued by the American
Academy of Health Care Providers in the Addictive
Disorders (AAHCPAD).

The American Academy is
a nationally-recognized multi-disciplinary organization comprised of psychologists,
psychiatrists, doctors, social workers, nurses, counselors, and
others in the health care field,
dedicated to establishing and fostering the highest standard of
competency, professional ethics and credentialing. |

The American Academy uses the RAS exam as its
testing criteria for the CAS certification.

Qualify for the CAS, pass the RAS exam, and you
will receive both the nationally-accredited RAS
and nationally-recognized CAS credentials. |

The RAS exam is a
multiple-choice exam

administered five-days-a-week at over 140 test centers
throughout the United States

Included in the exam fee is a comprehensive study guide that
contains all of the information that may be asked on the
exam

A free on-line tutorial, prepared by Breining
Institute, that follows the study guide, chapter-by-chapter,
is also available to help you prepare for the exam

You will receive your test results immediately upon
finishing the exam

EXAM FEE
The
$150 Exam Fee is waived with documentation of your
registration and eligibility for the CAS with the American
Academy (exam retake fee of $75, if necessary, is not waived)
